FAQs

Or maybe nobody asked and we answered anyway, for the curious minds :)

How is Noguchi Goods different from the average reseller or retailer?

To start, we are NOT ever or will we be dropshippers. I also like to personally check the items and ensure they are not broken and in quality packaging. And finally, we aren’t doing this to make millions of dollars. While we do want to provide for our family (duh) we’re not comfortable doing that by overcharging people. Since we get the items for low prices, we sell them for low prices. Easy peezy, lemon squeezy.

Where do you get all this cool stuff?

We don’t gatekeep! In order to keep our prices super affordable, we currently get most of our inventory from Aliexpress, Temu and other wholesalers like Nihao jewelry. As our business grows, I will always strive to find great quality for great prices.

Why do we see “we” and “I” on some parts of the website?

While Noguchi Goods is founded and owned by a husband and wife, the husband is more of the “charming, charismatic idea guy” and the wife is more the “type A, obsessed with learning and perfection.” In case it wasn’t already assumed, the Type A wife is the one who made the website and painstakingly filled out each and every section; so if I feel like it isn't 100% honest and authentic to say we, then I put I.

Noguchi Goods doesn’t want to make millions of dollars??

Nope. Well, let me clarify. We do want our business to make millions of dollars, but we don’t want to be millionaires. We automatically donate 10% of the listing price to a charity explicitly stated on the listing or charity page (coming soon). We also save more than we need to for taxes, so when we have extra money after tax time comes around, we can randomly bless people in need; like by paying for peoples groceries in the grocery store, getting and giving gift cards to hard working, under appreciated people, or buying blankets and necessities for the homeless, we’re always going to give back before we keep it for ourselves. So yeah, we want our business to make millions of dollars, but we don’t plan on keeping it and being millionaires.

Where do donations go?

It seems the lists of charities never end and it is almost impossible to know which ones are the best, or not corrupt, I’m always going to do the research to ensure we pick non-profit charities that truly try to help their chosen community. They may not be the biggest, most well-known charities, but they certainly try to help better the world, and that’s what really counts.
